January 6, 2012 Weekend (2011) Guh. I was setting myself to be heartbroken, but it ended on a hopeful note. It was such a nice, soft journey. Like a hug. Where the fuck were you with this lgbt suggestion, Netflix?

Retreat (2011)
★★★★☆
They really clowned these guys by not releasing it in theater. It was good! It took you down so many paths you didn’t expect. It kept me guessing and had me glued to the screen that Jamie Bell’s ears inhabited.

Midnight in Paris (2011)
★★★☆☆
In short, it was a delightful film. But really, I just need to book a flight to Paris now.

Blue Hawaii (1961)
★★☆☆☆
Okay, it started off with a lot of charm and great visuals. Then, well, things just dropped off. Maybe my full attention was not put on it, but it began dragging. Elvis remained beautiful throughout, I may add.

Hostel, Pt. III (2011)
★★☆☆☆
Really, though, it could have been worse. (This is what I continue telling myself now that it is over.) I hated the direction they took it in, and it was just… meh. How many fake outs did we need before we saw their true fate? I was also uncomfortable realizing that Kip Pardue actually aged and would not forever be Victor from Rules of Attraction.
Additionally: lol John Hensley

Stuart: A Life Backwards (2007)
★★★★☆
A fantastic way to start this movie project. Tom Hardy was so incredible to watch and the relationship between him and Cumberbatch warmed my cold heart. I didn’t want it to end, and especially not with the events it closed with. Warm my heart and then slash it to bits.
The 365 Films Challenge
Short and Sweet Overview: Watch 365 films in the year 2012.
What Is This Challenge?
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to spend the next year delving into the world of film by watching one film that you have never seen before per day.How Do I Participate?
The extent of how you participate is totally up to you, however it is recommended that you post some form of a review, whether it be as simple as a star rating or as extensive as a critical film analysis. Some also do graphics along with their reviews. When Do We Start?
Like most 365 challenges, the best day to start is January 1st so that you end on December 31st.But Isn’t This A Leap Year? It Should Be 366.
Consider it a free day or a bonus film, I could care less. What If I Can’t Watch A Film Each Day?
No one is monitoring how you reach 365 films, so if you fall behind or watch ahead a few movies, that is your choice. How Am I Going To Find 365 Films To Watch?
